At the Schönbrunn Palace Children’s Museum in Vienna all three- to twelve-year-olds can make this dream come true while learning lots of interesting things about the everyday life of the imperial children. Kids love the hands-on activities such as laying the table, dressing a wig and completing the large garden puzzle.

The best part is the opportunity to slip into the clothes and roles of the imperial children and immerse oneself in the life of the olden days. A truly unforgettable experience for everybody!

Ticket-Details

Valid for single admission to the Children’s Museum Schönbrun Palace on the day selected at the time selected.

The recommended age for children visiting the Children’s Museum Schönbrun Palace is between 3 and 12.

 Please note: if you take advantage of a reduction in the price of admission, proof of entitlement to this concession must be produced on admission. If the reduction has been claimed without entitlement the ticket will be automatically invalidated.

Vienna City Card holders must produce a valid Vienna City Card  together with a ticket on admission.

Last admission to is one hour before closing time.

Guided tours only in german.

Children may visit the museum only when accompanied by an adult!

Daily and on public holidays | 10 am – 5 pm, last admission 4 pm

Please note: Due to the special Halloween tour, the Children's Museum will close at 3:30 p.m. on October 30 and 31, 2023, last admission at 2:30 p.m.!
