As a preventive measure to contain infections caused by COVID-19, the Sisi Miseum with Kaiserappartements and Silberkammer will remain closed until 13.12.2021. All events and educational programs will be canceled during this period.
The Vienna Hofburg is one of the largest palace complexes in the world. The oldest parts date from the thirteenth century, but building continued into the twentieth century. The sprawling complex with nineteen courtyards and eighteen wings was once the political centre of the Habsburg Monarchy.
Today the Federal President of Austria and several ministers and secretaries of state go about their official business in the magnificent state rooms. Many important cultural institutions are also housed in the former imperial winter palace.

2 Gʼ rule applies (recovered, vaccinated).
Please carry your 2G proof (vaccinated or recovered) including an official photo ID during your stay. The control takes place in the entrance area. This applies to visitors 12 years and older.
Please wear a FFP2 mask to protect those around you. Children between the age of six and 14 are allowed to wear mouth and nose protection instead of the FFP2 mask. Children under 6 do not need to wear a mask.
