Gloriette – Schönbrunn

Description

Built in 1775, the Gloriette crowns the hill behind Schönbrunn, forming a fitting culmination to the palatial Baroque ensemble at Schönbrunn.

Enclosed by a balustrade, the flat roof has been used as a viewing platform since the early nineteenth century. The terrace of the Gloriette offers a unique view over Vienna and the palace and park at Schönbrunn.

Ticket- Details

The ticket is valid for single admission during the summer season from April, 2 to November 03, 2024.

Free admission for children under 6.

 Please note: if you take advantage of a reduction in the price of admission, proof of entitlement to this concession must be produced on admission. If the reduction has been claimed without entitlement the ticket will be automatically invalidated.

Vienna City Card holders must produce a valid Vienna City Card  together with a ticket on admission.

Concessions are also available at the museum ticket desks.

Gloriette – Schönbrunn is open dayli from April to 2 November 3 2024

2 April to 30 June 2023 I 9.30 am–5.30 pm

1 July to 31 August 2023 I 9.30 am–6.30 pm

1 September to 28 October 2023 I 9.30 am–5.00 pm 

29 October to 3 November 2023 I 9.30 am–4.00 pm

Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

Further information

The viewing platform is only accessible via stairs. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
