The palace tour shows the magnificent apartment of the Esterházy Princesses and provides a glimpse into the lives and worlds of three charismatic ladies: Maria Josefa Hermenegilde, née Princess Liechtenstein, passionate patroness of Joseph Haydn; Maria Theresia, née Princess of Thurn and Taxis, lionized beauty at the Congress of Vienna, and Lady Sarah Child-Villiers. Meet personalities from the past and discover the fascinating and moving stories of their loves, marital bliss and troubles.
A further highlight of this tour is the 17th-century Palace Chapel. The organ dates back to the time of Joseph Haydn and was frequently played by the great composer. The tour also includes the Haydnsaal, now world famous for its acoustics and an inspiration to Haydn in his day.

BY CAR: A2 towards Graz – at Guntramsdorf junction keep right, turn right onto the A3 after the service station – after approx. 26 km take the exit Müllendorf – turn right onto the B59 towards Eisenstadt – follow the B59 until you reach Esterházy Palace.
